SMC Baseball Clinics are dedicated to all aspects of the game including skill development, game strategy, competition and mechanics. Each athlete will have the opportunity to develop their skills through individual instruction, group instruction and game experience. Saint Mary's College is very fortunate to have some of the finest collegiate coaches in Northern California. Head coach Jedd Soto hand selects and trains his staff, composed of top-level coaches and collegiate players. All instructors have been chosen for their extensive knowledge of the game of baseball and their enthusiasm to work with children and young athletes.
Participants of the June High School Prospect Camp will play in front of Saint Mary’s coaches and receive elite instruction using similar workouts and drills utilized by the baseball program. Individual and small group instruction will cover pitching and skill work for both offense and defense. The camp will also focus on the athlete’s mental and physical preparedness to play Division I Baseball. This is a great opportunity to see the Saint Mary’s campus, tour facilities, ask questions and display your talents to the coaching staff. Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. sharp, and ends at approx. 5:00 p.m. Please register online early.

This summer, the Saint Mary's College Baseball program will be holding four sessions of summer clinics for youth. There will be a heavy focus on FUN, instruction and the development of the player. Competitions will be held but there will be no games played. The camps will be an overview of ALL aspects of the game of baseball. Hitting and throwing will be covered daily, and a different defensive position will be covered each day. Participants will be instructed and taught using drills used by Saint Mary's Baseball. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:
Defense:

-Setup
-Load
-Stride
-Swing Path
-Finish
-Baserunning
-Bunting
**If you can't attend all 4 days, you can attend individual days for $75/day
Cap: 40 Players- Additional staff members will be hired to ensure a 7:1 ratio
