Softball - Registration is now open for 2013 camps!
SMC Softball Clinics and Camps are dedicated to all aspects of the game including skill development, game strategy, competition and mechanics. Each athlete will have the opportunity to develop their skills through individual instruction, group instruction and game experience. Saint Mary's College is very fortunate to have some of the finest collegiate coaches in Northern California. Head coach Jessica Hanaseth hand selects and trains her staff, composed of top-level coaches and collegiate players. All instructors have been chosen for their extensive knowledge of the game of softball and their enthusiasm to work with children and young athlete.

Ages: 11-18 years
This day clinic begins at 9:00 am sharp and ends at 12:00 pm. Coaches will provide individual and group instruction for each player and their specific position. Throughout the week, athletes can expect to improve their hitting, pitching and fielding technique.

Resident Camper must be in high school grades 9 through 12 (NO EXCEPTIONS! Proof of high school enrollment may be required)

Ages: 8-17 year
The Camp is a great way for girls ages 8-17 yrs. to receive top-class instruction from Division I coaches and current players. During Camp, athletes can expect to participate in daily competitions, skill development activities, relays and other special events. Resident campers must be in grades 9 through 12 (must be in high school to participate in overnight option). Resident campers wake up at 7:30 a.m. After a full day of skill instruction, campers will retreat to their dorms for recreation time and lights out at 10:30 p.m. Day campers begin their day at 9:00 a.m. sharp, and after a full day of skill instruction, end at 8:00 p.m. For a complete daily schedule, please view the parent packet. Please note the change in departure time on Thursdays. Parents are invited to attend all sessions.
Softball Advanced Clinic

Grades: 8-12
Cost: $110
The Saint Mary’s College softball program will be hosting an advanced
camp on Saturday February 2nd from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The camp will
be split into two sections. The first, 9-11:30 AM, will be geared
towards skills instruction. Please bring your own lunch because we will
break for a half an hour. From 12-2 PM we will have a live scrimmage
showcasing skills. The cost is $110 per player. We would like to start
as prompt as possible so please arrive 15-20 minutes early so we can do
check-ins and complete registration no later than 9:15 AM.
