AS A JUNIOR (2016): A preseason all-West Coast Conference first team selection by league coaches ... Selected to U-23 U.S. National Team in March... Named to 2016 NSCAA NCAA DI All-West Region Third-Team... Honored on WCC First-Team... Named WCC All-Academic... named to Comissioner's Honor Roll with Silver Honors ... started in all 20 games for the Gaels … led the team in virtually all offensive categories … finished in the top 5 in the WCC for goals scored … contributed on 10 of the 19 goals the team scored, including seven goals scored by herself … was named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week in September after a two goal performance at Sacramento State … recorded one goal and two assists in the Gaels' 3-1 win over San Diego … took 63 shots and 54% were on frame.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Earned all-West Coast Conference First-Team honors, the first Gael to earn First-Team since 2011… Followed up an impressive freshman year with a better sophomore campaign… started all 20 matches, appearing in 1825 minutes… finished tied for the team lead with six goals, three assists and 15 points… took 40 shots during the year including a team-high 21 shots-on-goal… led the Gaels with three game-winning goals and one game-tying goal. … named All-West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention ... earned Silver honors (g.p.a. of 3.50-3.74) on the West Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Named the College Sports Madness West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year… appeared in all 20 matches with 17 starts… scored four goals during the season, adding three assists… first collegiate goal came in match No. 2 against Saint Joseph's… also scored goals against Oregon State, Idaho and Pacific… the goal against Pacific was a thriller, coming on the road in Stockton… Diaz scored the game-winner at Pacific in the 89th minute in the 1-0 WCC win.PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: A 2014 graduate of Middletown High School ... a four-time team and League MVP and a three-time All-Empire Player of the Year ... accumulated 168 goals and 73 assists in her four-year career at Middletown, scoring 60 of those goals in her senior season ... set the all-time record for career goals (168), goals in a single season (60), and goals in a single game (10) ... competed in Florida and Costa Rica as a member of the Olympic Development Program's Region IV Team.
