WXCTF & MSOC | Card Sharks and Gaels Supporters Come Together for 12th Annual Saint Mary's Texas Hold

MORAGA, Calif. - For the first time, Head Coach Marty Kinsey and his Women's Cross Country team combined forces with the Men's Soccer team for the 12th Annual Saint Mary's Texas Hold 'Em Tournament on August 19th, 2024. The proceeds from the tournament will go to both programs.
Coach Kinsey has run this event since its inception and loves being able to continue this tradition for the past 12 years. In just the first 10 years, the tournament has raised over $200,000 for the student-athletes who are part of the cross country and track programs.
120 family members, friends, boosters, and alumni attended the event this year, raising a record high amount north of $35,000.
Prizes for the event included vacation packages to Lake Tahoe and Carmel, wine tasting, two season ticket packages for Saint Mary's Men's Basketball, under Armour gear packages, local gift cards to Canyon Club and La Chamba, Golf at San Jose Country Club, a golf outing with Coach Kinsey at Moraga Country Club, and much more. Long time supporter Kay Pegram won the event.
