AS A SENIOR (2020-21)
Cross Country: Raced at both meets during the abbreviated 2021 spring cross country season...began the year by placing 13th at the Jessup Invite on February 6...shaved 15-seconds off of his time to finish in 27:16.6 at the WCC Championship on February 24...named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Track: Saw action in five different meets for the Gaels during the 2021 track season...competed in the 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, and 4x400m...his one stint in the 4x400m relay saw him help the Gaels snag second place at the SCU Bay Area Duals with a time of 3:37.09...his best 1500m time came at the Fresno State Invite on April 24, when he finish in 4:22.67...improved seven seconds on his 3000m time by the end of the year to finis hin 9:26.15, also at the Bay Area Duals.
AS A JUNIOR (2019-20)
Cross Country: Competed in all six races for Saint Mary’s during the 2019 season...Finished second on the team and 25th in the field on August 31 at the USF Invite (26:29.2) to open the season...Was just outside of the top-five Gael finishers at the Stump Invitational with a time of 26:43.4...Broke his personal best at the Bronco Invite on October 19 when he raced a 25:03...Represented Saint Mary’s at both the West Coast Conference Championship on November 1 (26:37.5) and the NCAA West Regionals on November 15 (33:21.7).
Track: Competed in both meets for the Gaels in 2020…began his season at the West Coast Invitational and posted a 4:24.81 in the 1500m…ended his year at the Cal Opener with a time of 9:08.45 in the 3000m, scoring himself a top-20 finish.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018-19)
Cross Country: Competed in all six meets for the Gaels during his sophomore season...Raced a 26:40.2 at the USF Invitational that was good for 48th place in the first meet of the season...Came in 65th in the 8K at the WCC Championship to secure the Gaels a fifth place finish, their best since 2001.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18)
Cross Country: Competed in five races in his debut season for the Gaels ... Ran in his first collegiate race at the University of San Francisco Invitational and finished 48th in 28:09.9 ... Posted his fastest 8 km time of the season with a 26:21.1 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on Oct. 14 ... Also came in 23rd in 19:36.3 in the 6k dual meet at Santa Clara on Sept. 22.
Track: Competed in seven meets in his debut collegiate track season, specializing in the 5,000 meters ... Posted his season and career best in the 5,000 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (April 28), running 15:32.09 ... Would break the 16-minute mark in the 5,000 three times during the season after running 16:00.34 in his first collegiate 5,000 at the Oxy Distance Carnival (March 10) ... Ran 15:46.35 on March 31 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival for his first sub-16 5,000 ... Ran the open 3,000 in his first collegiate meet, running 9:01.57 at the UW Indoor Open (Feb. 11).
HIGH SCHOOL
Athletics: Won varsity letters all four years in both cross country and track at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno, NV. ... School record holder in the 3200m with a time of 9:46.17 ... Was named to the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association cross country all-region second team as a senior in 2016 ... Was a NIAA All-Academic honoree all four years ... Earned the DRHS Track and Field Coaches' Award (MVP) ... Earned a top-10 finish in the 3200m at the 2017 Sacramento Meet of Champions. Ran personal bests of 4:42 in the 1600m, 9:46 in the 3200m, 17:03 in the 3 mile, and 16:30 in the 5k.
Academics: Was a NIAA All-Academic honoree all four years....Finished top boy in class with a 5.0 weighted GPA.
