ROW | Seven Gaels Earn All-Academic Honors

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After another big season on the water, seven Gaels were recognized for their success in the classroom: Emily Sprigings was named to the 2019 WCC All-Academic Team while Emma Bangs, Jennifer Faulkner, Katie Pecoraro, Olivia Pells, Emily Pelster, and Kelsey Shinn received Honorable Mentions.
Sprigings – 3.81 GPA, Kinesiology
Bangs – 3.54 GPA, Business Administration
Faulkner – 3.90 GPA, Politics
Pecoraro – 3.24 GPA, Teachers for Tomorrow
Pells – 3.52 GPA, Environmental Science
Pelster – 3.31 GPA, Anthropology/Archaeology
Shinn – 3.21 GPA, Psychology
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
