Live Stream | Stats
Back at home following a weekend in Spokane, Saint Mary's Baseball returns to the friendly confines of Louis Guisto Field for their first non-conference game in nearly a month, as the Gaels host Cal on Tuesday afternoon. Saint Mary's and Cal will resume a season-long six-game series between the long-time Bay Area rivals. The last game these teams played was back on March 7 at home, when Saint Mary's salvaged the final game of a split four-game series. Justin Banks homered twice in that game for Saint Mary's, and Ryan Taurek drew the start. He will again be on the mound this time around, but it is expected to be a bullpen game for both teams.

The Gaels have now won four of their last five matches, including three at the WCC Midseason Invitational last week. Thursday afternoon will also serve as Senior Day for the Gaels playing their final home beach match on the Saint Mary's campus. The final two weeks of the season will be played on the road.

This time around, the Gaels will compete across two days, with a small number of Gaels running Friday night during the opening day of the Invite. A majority of the runners will compete all day on Saturday, in one of the final races before the WCC Championships.

Despite the outcome against the Hornets, the Gaels improved their times in two of the three races. SMC will face only WCC teams from this point out.
