SAN MATEO, Calif. — Continuing with the announcement of the West Coast Conference's All-Academic teams, the WCC has released its 2020-21 Rowing All-Academic Team. Saint Mary's finds themselves well-represented on the list with two landing on the first team, and five others being named honorable mention, with a total of seven qualifying this year.

Among those returning to the list,
Emily Milbrath finds herself on the First Team for the third time in her great career at Saint Mary's, only one of four rowers in the WCC to land on the list for the third time this season. Milbrath is one of the best at Saint Mary's with a 3.92 grade point average as a Math/Computer Science major. Also landing on this year's First Team is senior standout
Emily Sprigings, who was recently named to the All-WCC team for the second time in her Gaels career. She carries a 3.89 GPA as a Science major, and this is the second time she has been on the First Team, including after the 2018-19 year where she joined then-first-timer Milbrath.

Saint Mary's featured five other rowers who qualified as honorable mention selections for this year's All-Academic team:
Lindsay Abrams (3.21 GPA, Business Administration),
Brooklyn Cassel (3.44 GPA, Business Administration),
Emily Pelster (3.44 GPA, Anthropology: Archaeology),
Lina Rak (3.82 GPA, Business Administration), and
Emma Scanlan (3.53 GPA, Allied Health Science).
