The men's team tallied a cumulative 3.191 GPA, while the women totaled a 3.317 cumulative GPA. The highest men's GPA was the WCC's own San Francisco, with a 3.74, while the top women's team was American University at 3.8. Oregon was named the men's National Scholar Team of the Year, while Arkansas earned the women's honor.
Rayna Stanziano, an English major with a 3.87 GPA, was one of 1100 women named All-Academic in track and field. Stanziano had a historic season and became the first female Gael in school history to qualify for the NCAA West Prelims, earning a spot in the 1500m with her time of 4:19.87, setting a Saint Mary's record. In addition, she did all of this while winning six events throughout the season and setting five school records (two in the 800m and three in the 1500m).
