MORAGA, Calif. – After a record-breaking performance over the weekend at the Bronco Invite,
Rayna Stanziano has been named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week.
The junior has been on fire all season, claiming the individual title in the Pacific Invite for the second year running back on September 30. Stanziano came into the Bronco Invite poised for a big race, and she did just that.
Stanziano finished 8
th overall in the 6K in a time of 20:06.3, a personal best by five seconds and a Saint Mary's school record.

Marty Kinsey had nothing but good things to say about Stanziano, "Rayna continues to impress and had another stellar day lowering her school record in a great tune up for WCC".
Stanziano and her Gaels teammates are gearing up for the WCC Championships, which are set to take place on Friday October 28 at Fern Hill Park in Portland, Oregon.
