MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Rowing Team competed in their final race of the 2024 this Saturday, October 26th. The Gaels will head to a familiar sighting of Lake Natoma to compete in the Head of the American to take on multiple competitors.
GAELS RECAP
Saint Mary's Rowing hosted Cal Poly Humboldt at Briones Reservoir with a successful day of racing as the Gaels brought 2 Varsity 8+ boats and 2 Novice 8+ boats. The ability to race four boats showed the continual growth of the Saint Mary's Rowing program, now under the third year direction of Head Coach
Brian Ebke.
About the day, Coach Ebke noted, "We had a great day racing a high quality team in Cal Poly Humboldt. All of our boats came off the water with some clear things to work on in the next few weeks, as well as some clear strengths we'd like to continue to execute well. This was a fun way to start our fall season - and a special kudos to the 7 athletes who completed their first ever rowing race today!"
