Gael Force Executive Team is a large part of the student experience here at Saint Mary's College. The Executive Team wants your leadership experiences to be impactful, meaningful, and effective. In efforts to streamline the leadership hiring process we have implemented an application that will be used for certain leadership opportunities for the Gael Force Team. Below you will find the basic eligibility requirements for Gael Force Executive Team.
Basic Gael Force Executive Team Requirements:
1. Be currently enrolled as a full-time student at Saint Mary's College.
2. Remain in good standing with the university (academic and conduct).
3. Adhere to all policies and standards as stated in the Gael Force Executive Team 2019
4. Submit the Gael Force Executive Team Application.
Additionally: You may be asked to complete additional steps per leadership opportunity you select to apply for.

COMMUNICATION & PROGRAMING ROLES:
The following provides brief descriptions of the roles of Communication Chairs & Program Coordinators. Each executive team member should be familiar with Gael Force bylaws, and policies. The responsibilities in each position are different, so you should use this information as a guide to be elaborated upon.
Goals for all Communication Chairs & Program Coordinators: Be the most creative group of minds. Always
coming up with new, realistic, out of the box, ideas on how to promote events. Always coming up with new,
realistic, out of the box, promotions.
Requirements for all Communication Chairs & Program Coordinators:
- Schedule and meet with Commissioners for your specific season; bi-weekly before season, weekly during season.
- (In addition to the weekly Executive Team Meetings)
- Attend and Lead Gael Force Executive weekly meetings
- Help Officers with Fundraising, Tailgates, Socials: Madness in McKeon
- Campus events: Tabling, Fairs etc.
- Summer events: Orientations, Welcome Back BBQ
- Assists with new student engagement/enrollment
- Mandatory 90% attendance at all SMC Men's Basketball games

The Communications Chair is responsible for advertisement of all fall and spring season games, events, promotions and news to campus. The Communications Chair reports and is in constant contact with their sports commissioners.
PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR
The Programming Coordinator handles the planning and preparation of fall and spring season events. The Programming should be creative, motivated, organized in order to give accurate updates during meetings and provide programming for Gael Force and its members.
BASKETBALL COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR
The Basketball Communications Chair is responsible for advertisement of all specific season games, events, promotions and news to campus. The Basketball Communications Chair reports and is in constant contact with their sports commissioners.
BASKETBALL PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR
The Programming Coordinator handles the planning and preparation of all specific season events. The Programming Coordinator should be creative, motivated, organized in order to give accurate updates during meetings and provide programming for Gael Force and its members.
