Game Day Sound Producer
Roles and Responsibilities:
Saint Mary’s College Athletics is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to be our Game Day Sound Producer.
This position will perform as the host/emcee for Athletics home soccer, basketball, baseball games and related events.
The Game Day Sound Producer will execute all on-court and in-crowd promotions, both sponsored and un-sponsored, as set forth in the game-by-game script and rundown. Work closely with the Marketing staff to ensure proper execution of promotions and in-game entertainment elements. Create an entertaining atmosphere while representing Saint Mary’s College Athletics in a positive manner.
The Game Day Sound Producer will execute a variety of equipment and machines, such as digital audio workstations, attenuators, equalizers, and multi-meters during the sound recording process. During post-production and mixing, sound producers blend recorded clips of vocals and instruments to achieve a certain sound. For movie or television projects, these professionals focus on how sound effects and music line up with visual cues.
By using your own creative skills to make original sounds or music. For example, using computer programs and an assortment of other tactile objects or musical instruments to create customized sound effects.
Additionally, Game Day Sound Producers work closely with singers, PA announcers, and other entertainment professionals to make sure that the sound they create is just right. In order to achieve desired results, they have to know how to properly communicate with performers, staff members, and others.
