West Coast Conference Championship History
Saint Mary's athletics has been established as one of the premier mid-major universities in the entire country. The Gaels boast an elite men's basketball program and have combined for over 30 West Coast Conference championships dating back to the late 50's. Saint Mary's is one of the five founding members of the WCC when it was first established in 1952 and continue to be a staple program for the recognition of the WCC.
