Game Day Crew Member
Designed as an opportunity for students to gain an introduction to working in sports, this is a paid position and is not eligible for course credit. Game-day Crew members’ experience will focus primarily on events with the possibility of limited office hours.
Individual will receive training in marketing and fan experience operations while assisting to promote and implement a positive game-day fan experience.
Areas of knowledge and experience gained may include, but not be limited to:
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); sophomore or junior status.

Areas of knowledge and experience gained may include, but not be limited to:
- Event and game-day plans and promotional activities for various sports depending on sports in-season including but not limited to pre-game, in-game and post-game activities.
- Community outreach programs such as donation requests and student rewards program.
- Relationship with IMG College in relation to corporate sponsorship fulfillment.
- Relationship with Sales and Marketing department in relation to promotions aimed at increasing attendance and ticket sales.
- Special events hosted by SMC Athletics such as Youth Nights, Anniversary events, West Coast Conference and NCAA Championships depending on semester.
- Departmental activities, sports schedules, and procedures including general day-to-day office operations.
- Cooperative working relationships with fellow staff members within the Department.
- Athletics Department goals and philosophies as described by the Director of Athletics and staff roles in working to achieve and uphold the Department’s mission statement and core values.
- Adheres to University, West Coast Conference, SMC Athletics, and NCAA policies and procedures.
