At Saint Mary's: Should adjust well to collegiate 6K distance in second year...looks to increase racing distance on the track and contribute to conference team in the fall.
2011 (Sophomore): Injury limited season to two races...best race of season came at Doc Adams Invitational (25:40).
2010 (Freshman): Seventh runner for Saint Mary's at WCC Championships...best 6K performance came at SFSU Gator Invitational placing 41st in 24:06...5K personal best of 19:28 at Bronco Invitational...ran 5:11.58 for 1500m in only track meet of the spring season.
High School: Comes to Moraga from Saint Mary's College High School in Oakland, CA...lettered four years in cross country and track & field...lettered three years in soccer...was Bay Shore Athletic League champion in cross country in 2008...was the Bay Shore Athletic League champion in the 3200m in 2009...helped XC team to a 2008 Division 4 Championship and a runner-up finish in 2007...ran 19:06 for 5K and 5:19 for 1600m.
Personal: Born Alexandra Marie Choy...plans to pursue Mathematics major...hopes to work in sports statistics after graduation.
