Collegiate Career:

(2013 Freshman): Continuously improved 6k time throughout XC season…best performances were at the Bronco Invitational (23:19) and the Doc Adams Invite (23:03)…raced a 3000m at the CSU Stanislaus Open (10:40.94)…best track performance was at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival (18:37.00).

(2014 Sophomore): Ran close to 6k PR by the time xc championship came around…best performance was at the NCAA West Region (23:31.1)…Focused primarily on the 5k during track, but raced a few 1500m races…Gutcher lowered her PR 5k time by 23 seconds at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival (18:14.95)…Best 1500m performance was at the Easy Bay Legacy Invitational (4:58.84)

(2015 Junior): Raced in every race of the season for the Gaels … In her first race of the season, finished the 5 km San Francisco Invitational with a 43rd place finish in 19 minutes, 43.8 seconds … Earned the third fastest Gael time at the 5.8 km San Francisco State Quad Meet finishing eighth in 22:53 … Finished 49th in 18:32.7 at the 5 km Capital Cross Challenge for a season best for this distance… Recorded a season record for 6 km, finishing the 6 km Bronco Invitational in 22:23.8 … At the 6 km West Coast Conference Championships, finished in 53rd in 23:30.1 for the second-fastest Gael time … Finished the 6 km NCAA West Regionals in 213th in 23:59.6.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Gutcher is a two time qualifier at the CIF State Cross Country Chamionships. Her junior year, she picked up an impressive 18:54 at the championship race

PERSONAL: Gutcher chose Saint Mary's for the close knit campus community and because she liked the Bay Area…She wants to pursue Physical or Occupational therapy…On her free time she likes reading science fiction and playing video games
