
XC | McDermott Finishes Strong At Junior National XC Championship

BOULDER, Colo. – Noah McDermott of the Saint Mary's cross country team participated at the USATF Junior National Cross Country Championship on Saturday in Colorado. The meet serves as the selection/qualifying race for the world cross country championships, which are next month in China as the top six make the USA team.
McDermott competed in the Juniors race, which is for athletes 19 years old and younger. The field is primarily college freshmen and high school seniors. McDermott finished 19th.
The racing season turns it's full attention to track in two weeks for the WCC preview race in Moraga, Feb 21-22.
