AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
Track:
Cross Country: Competed in only first half of season … Came in 104th in 27:57.2 at the San Francisco Invitational on Sep. … Finished in 25:20.8 in 42nd at the Speedway Duals on Sep. 15.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)
Track: Competed in the 800m and 1,500m races for the Gaels … Collected his best 800m time of the season and a personal record of 1:56.16 at the Sacramento State Open on May 7 … Ran his best time of the season for 1,500m at the Hornet Invitational on March 18, finishing in 4:13.68.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S:
PERSONAL: Habash chose Saint Mary's for quality of Lasallian education, positive atmosphere of the school, the experienced members of athletic staff, and great running locations … After college he wants to attend law school and become a defense attorney … He mainly was soccer player throughout youth and switched to running junior year of high school (went from running 4:45 to 4:24) … Samir also enjoys playing/watching soccer on his free time.
