MORAGA, Calif. — After leading the Saint Mary's lacrosse team to its first win since April 2014, attacker Jocelyn Lubert notched Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Offensive Player of the Week for her first conference honor.
This is also the first conference honor for any Gael since Rachel Minarovich claimed the recognition on April 21, 2014.
Lubert scored 10 goals on the week, and seven alone in the 16-11 win at Butler. The 5-7 attacker is sixth in the MPSF in total points (15) and fourth in goals (13).
Lubert is displaying an efficient attack, as the junior has a 72.7 percent on shots on goal.
The Gaels will conclude their east coast road swing next week, beginning with a match at Central Connecticut State on Friday, March 10 at 1 p.m. SMC will then compete against Manhattan College (March 12) and conclude the road trip at Wagner College on Monday, March 13 at 12 p.m.
