RIVERDALE, NY — The Saint Mary's lacrosse team (1-5) fell cold Sunday, falling 16-3 to Manhattan College at Gaelic Park.
Jillian Dunlap, Emily Mack and Meagan Bennett collected the three scores for the Gaels. Meg Sheehan got her second career start for Saint Mary's. The freshman collected seven saves and three ground-balls for the Gaels.
The Gaels were outshot, 33-20 by the Jaspers. The Gaels collected a total of 12 ground-balls and five draw-controls.
SMC cleared the field on 9-of-10 attempts, but could not convert any of the three free-position shots in the match.
The Gaels will be back in action versus Wagner College tomorrow for a 9 a.m. PT start.
