LAX | Gaels Travel to San Diego State, Host Saint Francis

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's lacrosse (1-7, 0-3 MPSF) will play two games this week, first traveling for a conference match at San Diego State (5-3, 0-1 MPSF), followed by a home contest versus Saint Francis (4-4) on Sunday, March 26 at noon.
The Gaels are coming off a 20-6 loss to UC Davis. The Gaels will take on the Aztecs on Friday evening for a 7 p.m. match. Fans can watch the action here and follow live stats via statbroadcast.
Sunday's contest versus Saint Francis will be streamed live on SMCGaels.com along with live stats.
Jocelyn Lubert continues to pace the Gaels offense with 20 goals and a total of 24 points. Lubert's accuracy has been sharp as the attacker has an 82.4 percent of her shots are on goal.
First year player Jillian Dunlap has been impressive, scoring 12 goals and six assists for the Gaels. Six assists is tied for the team-high. The freshman leads SMC with 31 draw controls.
Sophomore Lauren Neumann leads Saint Mary's with 15 ground balls.
Freshman Meg Sheehan leads the Gaels keepers, starting in four game so far. Sheehan has played in 194 minutes and recorded 28 saves thus far.
The Aztecs are coming off a tough 14-11 loss to Columbia on March 18, which snapped a five-game winning streak. Senior Vickie Porter has been the Aztecs' leading scorer with 17 goals, highlighted by hat tricks at Oregon and Detroit Mercy.
Saint Francis's recent 4-3 start equals its best start through seven games in program history. The Red Flash started 4-3 in 2010 then won its next two to move to 6-3 before dropping its final eight games.
