SPOKANE, Wash. - In a close match from start to finish, Saint Mary's (4-16, 1-7 WCC) dropped a tight 4-2 decision at Gonzaga (10-9, 3-6 WCC) Saturday afternoon at the Stevens Center.
Saint Mary's will close out the season on Sunday, April 22 at home versus San Diego. First serve versus the Toreros is set for 12 p.m. PDT.
The top singles players collected wins for the Gaels as Damon Kesaris recorded his 13th singles win of the season. The second year player is now 13-4 in the dual season as the top player for the Gaels.
Senior Nash Vollenweider won in straight-sets on court No. 2 for his ninth victory of his final season.
Daniel Krutik went unfinished on court No. 6 after battling back in the second set.
