Texas Hold 'Em Tournament SIGN UP
MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary's cross country and track program will host its sixth annual Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 18 at the Soda Activity Center on the campus of Saint Mary's College.
The event starts at 4 p.m. with a pre-party for Gold and Title Sponsors. Then the tournament runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with dealing starting promptly at 5 p.m. Participants can buy-in ahead of time for $75 until Wednesday, Aug. 15, or $100 at the door. Spectator tickets are $40. Sponsorship levels are also available from Bronze all the way up to Title sponsors. Players must be 21 years or older to participate.
"This is such a great annual event for our program and everyone involved," said Saint Mary's head coach Marty Kinsey. "Everyone who comes always has a great time, and with plenty of food and prizes and friends to be had, everyone leaves a winner."
Heavy appetizers, refreshments and complimentary beer and wine will be served. Players will be aiming for the more than $2,000 in prizes. There will also be a silent auction held for all who attend. Interested people can sign up to participate in the event by clicking here.
The Gaels open their 2018 cross country season on Sept. 1 at the USF Invitational in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.
