MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's picked up a comfortable 5-2 win on Thursday against Div. II Holy Names at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.
The Gaels opened up the afternoon by sweeping doubles competition.
Damon Kesaris and
James Watt represented the top Saint Mary's duo and won 6-3 over the tandem of Vinee-Munoz/Colpart. SMC's other duos,
Abhishek Bastola/
Matis Bot and
Daniel Krutik/
David Abfalter, each won 6-1 in their respective matches.
Saint Mary's claimed four more wins in singles. Kesaris and Krutik both won their matches in straight sets while Watt and Bot battled into the third set to secure the win for the Gaels.
