SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Gaels had another good day on Friday in Sacramento as they beat out San Jose State and then swept San Francisco.  

In the Gaels' first match of the day, they fought tough against the Spartans and were able to pull out their second win of the season against SJSU. Senior pairs Lindsey Knudsen/Sarah Chase and Lindsey Calvin/Emily Bible were both able to take their sets as were Alexsa "Crash" Parkerr/Sienna Young.

In match two against USF, the Gaels recorded their fifth sweep of the season and took down the Dons yet again. Saint Mary's only allowed San Francisco to win one set during the whole match but otherwise won their matchups in two sets. Chandler Cowell and Selbie Christensen fought back from a first set loss and went on to take the next two and secure the sweep.
