ROW | Gulliver Scott Elevated to Associate Head Coach

MORAGA, Calif. – Entering his third year with the Saint Mary's rowing program, Gulliver Scott has received a promotion to Associate Head Coach following a successful 2018-19 season.

"This promotion is well-deserved," said head coach Anna Pytlak. "Gulliver has been instrumental in building the program over the past two years and especially in the great results we had last year. I'm looking forward to continuing to work together and can't thank Gulliver enough for all of the time and dedication he has shown."

In each his two years at SMC, the Gaels have finished fifth at the West Coast Conference Championship and he has coached four All-WCC Team members. Scott also just received his master's degree in kinesiology from Saint Mary's over the summer.

"I really appreciate the recognition of being named Associate Head Coach of women's rowing," said Scott. "Saint Mary's is a great place to coach and I'm looking forward to taking on new challenges and responsibilities.  This will be an exciting year: we are bringing in a talented and experienced recruiting class to go along with a strong group of returning student-athletes."
