MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's men's basketball announced the addition of five non-conference home games at University Credit Union Pavilion and one road game today, adding to the three-game multi-team tournament announced Thursday.
The Gaels have worked continuously over the past couple of months to adjust their non-conference schedule based on the NCAA start date and the amount of games teams can play this season. Saint Mary's is allowed to play up to 27 games this season due to the NCAA change in the calendar. The 16-game West Coast Conference schedule was announced last month.
The home opener is slated for Tuesday, Dec. 1 with the Gaels hosting Nicholls State. Saint Mary's is in the process of finalizing their final two non-conference games and will be announced at a later date.
All games will be streamed live on SMCGaels.com and the WCC Network. The official television list of games is still a work in progress with ESPN, CBS Sports Net and Stadium working on the calendar. An official television release will be announced soon.
