

TRK | Saint Mary's to Open Season at the West Coast Invitational

MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's will compete at the West Coast Invitational this weekend for the first meet of the 2020 season.
Saturday's meet will be hosted by the Santa Clara Broncos and the competition will take place at Bellermine College Prep with events beginning at 9:00 a.m. Results and information can be found on the track and field schedule page following the completion of the meet.
Last season, the Gaels ended on a high note at the Oxy Invite and the Warrior Last Chance Meet. Nolan Dozier earned a personal best and broke the previous program record by 11 seconds in the 5k with a race time of 14:16.96. Moses Bojorquez raced in the 5k as well and moved to third-best all-time as he ran a 14:28.79. For the women's team, Abby Bolt moved into third all-time in Saint Mary's history with her 5k race time of 17:14.24 at the Oxy Invite. At the Warrior Last Chance Meet, Ellen Burbank (18:48.67) and Katie Watson (18:49.70) both raced personal bests in the 5k while Emma McCarthy moved to second all-time with her race in the 800 meter (2:14.83).
