ROW | Annual Row-A-Thon Set for Friday
2/6/2020 1:56:00 PM | Women's Rowing
MORAGA, Calif. — As a kick-off to the spring semester, Saint Mary's Women's Rowing will host its annual Row-A-Thon on Friday throughout the day to raise money for the program. The event will be hosted at their practice site, on the water, at Briones Reservoir, roughly 12 miles north of campus.
The Gaels will each be rowing over 21,000 meters (roughly the same distance as a half-marathon, 13.1 miles) in an effort to solicit donations from our generous supporters. Those interested in donating to the Saint Mary's Women's Rowing program and their Row-A-Thon efforts can do so online through Saint Mary's College by clicking here.
The spring portion of the Gaels season gets underway on Saturday, February 22nd as they take on UC Davis. Five meets are on the schedule, leading up to the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships in late-April and the West Coast Conference Championships in May.
