MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's and the West Coast Conference announced today two schedule changes for the Gaels' men's basketball contests this week against San Diego and Santa Clara.
Thursday's contest originally scheduled in San Diego is now postponed due to COVID-19 complications within the Toreros program. A makeup date will be set for later in the season.
Saturday's game versus Santa Clara, originally to be played as a road contest in Santa Cruz at 3:30 p.m., will now be played in Moraga at 4 p.m as a home game for Saint Mary's. The Gaels were scheduled to play the Broncos inside UCU Pavilion on Feb. 4 and will now play at the Broncos' home court on that date. Saturday's game will still be broadcasted on CBS Sports Network.
In addition, the Saint Mary's women's basketball home game that had previously been scheduled for 1 p.m. this Saturday against San Francisco has been pushed up to 11 a.m.
Saint Mary's contest versus Pepperdine that was postponed last week due to a positive case in the Waves' program has been rescheduled for Feb. 22. Game time is still TBD.
