MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's College Athletics Department announced today (Feb. 16, 2022) updated guidelines to attend men's and women's basketball games inside University Credit Union Pavilion for the remainder of the season.
 
Beginning Thursday, Feb. 17, following updated Contra Costa County and State guidelines, vaccinated fans are strongly encouraged, but not required, to wear face masks inside UCU Pavilion. Unvaccinated fans are required to wear face coverings.
 
Fans attending games will still need to show proof of vaccination or a negative test within 48 hours. Vaccine check in points will still remain outside UCU Pavilion and fans will receive a wristband to enter the pavilion.
 
The following policies begin Thursday, Feb. 17 with the Saint Mary's men's basketball game against San Francisco at 7 p.m. at UCU Pavilion.
 
UNIVERSITY CREDIT UNION PAVILION

• Gates open 90 minutes prior to tip-off.
• New front courtyard area and inside concession stands open 90 minutes prior to tip-off.
• Fans must have a COVID 19 Vaccine Screened wristband for entry into UCU Pavilion
  • Screening stations will be located outside the front entry doors and out front in the courtyard area.
• Fans will be allowed to exit the Pavilion at halftime to enjoy food and beverages in the courtyard area.
  • Fans must re-enter UCU before the first media time out in the second half (approximately 4 minutes into the second half).
• MASKS are encouraged, but not required for vaccinated fans. Unvaccinated fans must have a face mask worn at all times inside UCU Pavilion unless actively eating or drinking.  
• All fans are encouraged to utilize clear bags when attending events at UCU Pavilion. No outside food or drinks are allowed in UCU Pavilion at any time.  As a courtesy to others, no large backpacks or coolers are allowed in UCU Pavilion. 
   

TICKETS

• All tickets will be Digital as we enter the 2021-22 season.
  • Your ticket can be displayed on your phone, or printed at home as a PDF.
• Tickets purchased at UCU Pavilion on game day will be sent to customers cell phone after transaction is completed.
• Digital Tickets will be scanned as you enter UCU Pavilion.
• Patrons in need of assistance purchasing ADA seats may contact the SMC Ticket Office at 925-631-GOTX(4689). ADA seating is limited, advance purchase is recommended.  

 
COVID VACCINE SCREENING

Prior to entering UCU Pavilion, all fans over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccine or a negative Covid-19 test.

• For those showing proof of a negative test, the parameters are as follows:
• Fans must stop at a Covid Vaccine Verification station outside UCU Pavilion in order to show proof of vaccination or negative test in exchange for a unique wristband.  A wristband combined with a game ticket will be needed for entry into UCU Pavilion.

 
PARKING ON GAME DAYS

• Prepaid parking is available at SMCGAELS.COM/TICKETS. $100 for all 16 games. Park in any unreserved lot on campus.
• Day of game parking is $10 to park in any unreserved lot on campus. Cash only on game days.
• Reserved DONOR PARKING lot is indicated on your parking ticket. Coaches Circle, Premier Parking, VIP Parking. All other lots marked General Admission fans can park in any unreserved lot on campus.
• For convenience print out passes and place them on dashboard for easy entry on game days.
• Parking lots open 2 hours prior to tip-off.
