STOCKTON, Calif. – Saint Mary's Men's Tennis will take on the Pacific Tigers in WCC play this Saturday in Stockton, Calif. for their penultimate road match of the season.

LAST TIME OUT
The Gaels got singles wins from
Felipe Rincon and
Carlos Ramos Membrives, but UC Davis won the dual match 4-2 on Thursday afternoon.

The doubles point was tied 1-1 with Rincon and
Mathis Moysan winning 6-0 and UC Davis winning theirs 6-0 as well. That point came down to a tiebreaker for
James Watt and Ramos Membrives that Davis won 7-5 to secure the 7-6 win and the doubles point.

Those singles wins by Rincon and Ramos Membrives put the Gaels up 2-1 before the next two matches to finish went to the Aggies, including a third-set tie breaker for Watt again that went to UC Davis.

ABOUT PACIFIC
The Tigers are coming off a 1-4 loss to Pepperdine and a 1-4 loss to Loyola Marymount. Juniors Peter Alam and Ran Amar won singles points over the two matches to add to their strong season. Freshman Tiago Silva put up a fight over both contests, going all three sets in the singles competition. Senior Coby McCaig and Silva also picked up the lone doubles win for the Tigers.Â
