MBB | 15 Gaels Hoops Matchups to be Nationally Televised
10/15/2024 1:01:00 PM | Men's Basketball
MORAGA, Calif. — 15 of the Saint Mary's Men's Basketball games, including 12 of their WCC matchups will be nationally televised this season. Eight of the Gaels games will be on the ESPN family of networks and four will be found on CBS Sports Network, while the Acrisure Classic will be broadcast on TruTV and Max, and the Gaels neutral site contest with Nebraska will be on the Big Ten Network.
The Gaels first televised game will be the aforementioned Nebraska matchup at the Sanford Pentagon in South Dakota. Tip-off is set for 10 AM pacific time on Big Ten Network. Next up will be the Acrisure Classic on TruTV and Max, with the Gaels opening up the tournament on November 28 vs USC at 6 PM, before taking on either Arizona State or New Mexico at either 6:30 PM or 9 PM.
While that will conclude the televised non-conference portion of the schedule, the Gaels will have 12 WCC matchups on national TV. The eight games on the ESPN family of networks will feature matchups vs. LMU (ESPN2, 1/7 at 8 PM), at Santa Clara (ESPNU, 1/29 at 6 PM), vs. Gonzaga (ESPN, 2/1 at 8 PM), at San Francisco (ESPN2, 2/6 at 6 PM), at Oregon State (ESPN2/ESPNU, 2/8 at 7 PM), vs. Santa Clara (ESPN2, 2/11 at 8 PM), vs. Washington State (ESPN2/ESPNU, 2/15 at 7 PM), and at Gonzaga (ESPN/ESPN2, 2/22 at 5 or 7 PM).
The four CBSSN televised games for the Gaels will include matchups vs. San Francisco (1/23 at 6 PM), at Washington State (1/25 at 5 PM), at LMU (2/27 at 8 PM), and vs. Oregon State (3/1 at 7 PM).
All home non-conference matchups, the Gaels 12/7 road matchup vs Utah, and all unlisted WCC matchups can be streamed on ESPN+. The 12/14 neutral site contest vs Boise State in Idaho Falls does not have a television designation yet, however, last year's matchup between the same two schools at the same arena was broadcast on FS1.
