MORAGA, Calif. — After an offensive awakening at the Acrisure Classic,
Jordan Ross has been named the Shamrock Office Student-Athlete of the Week. This is Ross's first Student-Athlete of the Week honor, as he becomes the second Gaels Men's Basketball player to earn this award, joining
Paulius Murauskas, who won it three weeks ago.
Jordan Ross set a new career-high in the Gaels 35 point shellacking of USC, scoring 15 points to lead all scorers. He followed that up by besting his career-high in the Acrisure Classic championship against Arizona State, scoring 19 and ripping down a career-high seven rebounds. Ross hit 4 threes in that game, after coming into it with just three made threes in his career.Â
Ross and the Gaels will get UTSA tonight before going back on the road to take on Utah in their first and only true road contest of non-conference play.Â
ALSO NOMINATED: Hailee Garcia (WVB) and Kennedy Johnson (WBB)
