SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Saint Mary's Men's Tennis lost to UC Santa Barbara 7-0 on Friday afternoon in the Gauchos second home match of the season.

The Gaels had two epic battles in the singles match ups, with Pierre Lieutaud fighting Conrad Brown to a 6-7, 6-2, 10-5 result in the sixth spot, and Carlos Ramos Membrives dueling it out with No. 20 ranked Pablo Masjuan 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.

It was a narrow doubles point loss for SMC as well, as Kai Brady and Lucca Liu snuck out a 6-4 win over Mathis Moysan and Thibaud Maxant, with Mebrives and Diego Jarry were in a 4-4 tie vs. Masjuan and Gianluca Brunkow when their match was stopped after the doubles point had been decided.
