MBB | Gaels Give Generously of their Time, Reading to the Children of Camino Pablo Elementary and St. Perpetua School

MORAGA, Calif. — As is tradition, the Saint Mary's Men's Basketball team was out giving back to the Lamorinda Community that supports them game in and game out throughout the season, heading to both Camino Pablo Elementary School in Moraga and St. Perpetua School in Lafayette to read to the students.
The Gaels have taken the opportunity to give back to their community this way every year for the past decade and beyond, as this proves to be both a great opportunity to give back to their community while also bringing excitement around the sport of college basketball to the next generation. Gaels players relish the opportunity to get involved with the local community beyond just their sport, hoping to prove as role models for the students they have the chance to speak to.
With a pair of exhibitions against Arizona and Ole Miss upcoming here in October followed by their home opener in the first week of November, the Gaels showed their commitment to their values, still taking the time out of their busy practice schedule to be active amongst the community youth.
