SAN BRUNO, Calif. — The West Coast Conference has just announced the conference matchups for the 2025-26 men's basketball season. With the addition of Seattle University to the WCC in the 2025-26 season, each team will play an 18 game conference slate. Each team will play four teams once, two only at home and two only on the road, while playing the remaining seven teams both at home and on the road.
The Gaels will only play Oregon State and San Diego inside UCU Pavilion this year. The Beavers and Gaels met up inside UCU Pavilion for the first time in program history last season, with the Gaels defeating the Beavs 74-64 on senior day. The Toreros haven't won in Moraga since 2007, as Saint Mary's has won 16 straight when hosting USD.
The Gaels will be on the road exclusively against LMU and Pacific. Saint Mary's has gone 2-1 in their last three meetings at Gersten Pavilion in Los Angeles, however, all three have been decided by one possession. The Gaels have played just twice at the Spanos Center in Stockton since 2020. The first of those two was a four overtime thriller that went the way of the Tigers in 2020, while the second was not nearly as tight, an 84-43 Gaels victory in 2024.
Saint Mary's will see Gonzaga, Washington State, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Pepperdine both at home and on the road, as they march towards the WCC Tournament, once again hosted at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Dates, tip-off times and TV network info will be announced at later dates.
