Gaels Have 160 Student-Athletes Named to 2024-25 WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll

SAN BRUNO, Calif. — For the sixth straight year, Saint Mary's had more than 150 student-athletes earn a spot on the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll. The WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll celebrates the hard work of WCC Student-Athletes in the classroom, honoring any student-athlete with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Student-athletes are honored with a gold (4.00 - 3.75), silver (3.74-3.50) or bronze (3.49 - 3.00) designation based on their overall GPA.

The Gaels had the sixth most honorees amongst WCC schools at 160. 41 of those Gaels student-athletes earned gold status, 48 earned silver and 71 earned bronze. Breaking it down by sport, 21 women's cross country runners, 20 women's soccer, 20 rowers, 16 men's soccer players, 15 baseball players, 13 softball players, 11 volleyball players, 10 women's basketball players, eight beach volleyball players, eight men's cross country runners, seven women's tennis players, seven men's tennis players, three men's basketball players and one golfer were honored. As a department, Saint Mary's Athletics has a 3.351 average cumulative GPA.
