MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's swim head coach Ellie Monobe has added Paige Tattersall to her coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Tattersall comes to Moraga after a one-year stint at Division III Pomona Pitzer where she was the primary recruiter for the Sagehens on their coaching staff. Tattersall reunited with Monobe here at Saint Mary's as Monobe coached Tattersall during her collegiate career at Pepperdine where she was a standout four-year student-athlete for the Waves. Tattersall earned nine All-PCSC First Team honors throughout her career and helped lead Pepperdine to its first PCSC Championship in 2022. The Waves would repeat as conference champions again in 2023 as both Tattersall and Monobe helped build the foundation for a powerhouse west coast swim and dive program in Malibu.
After graduating from Pepperdine, Tattersall joined the staff at Concordia Irvine as a graduate assistant where she spent the 2024-25 season. She would complete her masters in Athletic Administration and Coaching before taking an assistant position at Pomona Pitzer.
"I am thrilled for the opportunity to work alongside Ellie, Carter, and the rest of the Saint Mary's athletic staff to build something special from the ground up", said Tattersall. "I'm excited to establish a strong foundation for the program and see what this year has in store for the Gaels" (Tattersall).
