Hamish Ellison Earn’s Program’s First Saint Mary’s Student-Athlete of the Week Honor

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's water polo freshman attacker Hamish Ellison has been named the program's first-ever recipient of the Saint Mary's Student-Athlete of the Week.
During the Gaels' inaugural home game, a 20-11 win over Whittier College, the Canberra, Australia native scored the program's first-ever home goal. Ellison went on to find the back of the net two more times to complete the hat trick, while also drawing three exclusions and adding an assist and a steal. Ellison's performance helped Saint Mary's to secure its third straight win and its first-ever home victory to improve to 3-4 on the season.
