Jeremy Niederstadt enters his 20th year as an assistant coach for the Gaels men's golf program prior to the 2024-25 season. Niederstadt came to Saint Mary's in 2005 as an assistant coach and assists with practice and tournament preparations and provides coaching assistance during team tournaments alongside head coach Scott Hardy. 

Since graduating from Oakland University (Mich.) in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Niederstadt has been providing financial and wealth management advice and services. Since 2000, he has worked for Merrill Lynch, specializing in wealth management, estate planning and money management for his clients.

Prior to joining the financial world, Niederstadt lettered in golf for four years at Oakland University from 1992-96, and was the team captain his senior season. During those four years, he won four tournaments individually while helping Oakland capture more than 10 team titles. He currently lives in Moraga, California.
