Kami Gray is the Deputy Athletics Director for Internal Operations/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) at Saint Mary’s College of California.    

Gray’s current responsibilities include overseeing all of the finances for the Department of Athletics’ 16-team intercollegiate athletic program, including providing leadership for, administering, monitoring and reporting the Department of Athletics budget.   She serves as the sport administrator for women’s basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball and softball and she also oversees the Internal Operations of the department including Compliance, Student-Services, Sports Medicine, Sports Performance and all of the equipment and travel functions for the department.  
 
In addition to serving as a member of the Department of Athletics’ Senior Administration Team with the Gaels, Gray also serves as the Senior Woman Administrator where she is a liaison between the College, the NCAA and the West Coast Conference.  In this role she serves as the department’s contact for Title IX/Gender Equity issues and is the Title IX Deputy Coordinator (for athletics). 
 
Prior to being promoted to Deputy Athletics Director for Internal Operations/SWA in the fall of 2019, Gray was the Senior Associate AD for Finance & Student-Athlete Services /SWA.  She also served as the Associate Athletic Director for Business and Finance/SWA from 2010-2016 and was the Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Finance from 2006-2010.  Prior to this she held other roles including the Director of Compliance/Summer Camps at Saint Mary’s and also the Assistant Director (Graduate Assistant) of summer camps at Saint Mary’s College.
 
Gray also served as the Interim Athletic Director for the Gaels from March to July of 2017.
 
Through out her tenure at Saint Mary’s, Gray has been a part of many different groups and committees.  She has been a volunteer for the Saint Mary’s College Sexual Assault Crisis Response Team, a member of the Campus Athletic and Recreation Sports Committee (CARSC), College Committee on Inclusive Excellence (CCIE) and the Athletics Strategic Planning Committee.  She currently serves on the Athletics Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Athletics Oversight Committee and the Institutions Budget Committee.  Gray also serves on the West Coast Conference (WCC) Executive Council and the WCC Championships and Sport Administration Cabinet.
 
Kami completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s College in 2002.  She also earned her CLAD Credential (Multiple Subject Professional Clear Credential) from Saint Mary’s College in 2004 and her Master of Education in Instruction from Saint Mary’s College in 2006.
 
Gray currently resides in Moraga with her daughter Ryann.
