Kari is entering her 21st year with Saint Mary's Athletics after being hired in June of 2003 as an Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services. She begins her first season as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Student Athlete Services, where she will oversee all compliance and student services.
She is the main liasion with admissions, financial aid, housing, and student life, She also holds advising roles for certain teams within the department.
Prior to Saint Mary's, Kari worked at the University of San Francisco as the Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes. She also worked in the Athletic Department at Arizona State University for three years as a Coordinator for Academic Services.
Kari attended UC Davis and earned a degree in international relations in 1996. While at Davis, she played four seasons on the women’s basketball team. Kari went on to earn her Master’s in higher education administration at Arizona State in 2001.
Kari and her husband Eduardo live in Lafayette with their three children.
