Saint Mary's, WILD 94.9 FM to Host Midnight Madness

Moraga, CA - The Athletic Department, GAEL FORCE Sprit Club, and WILD 94.9 FM will host a "Midnight Madness" event on Wednesday, November 13 from 9:30- midnight in the Soda Center and McKeon Pavilion. The event will tip-off with a pre-party in the Soda Center from 9:30-11:00 p.m. WILD 94.9 FM will be on site to provide music and promotional give-aways. Beverages, soda, water and pizza will be available for purchase. There will also be a special 21 and over section, staffed by Saint Mary's employees, but students of all ages are invited to attend. (Note: anyone 21 or older wishing to enter the special section must show two forms of identification).
At 11:00 p.m., the event will move to McKeon Pavilion where Midnight Madness will begin. This part of the evening will include a "Battle of the Sexes 3-point Shootout" between the men's and women's basketball teams, a slam dunk contest, contests for prizes, performances by the Dance and Cheer teams, give-aways, comments from team captains, and more.
"We're really excited about this event," said GAEL FORCE President Jordann Bass. "This will hopefully get the students excited about the upcoming basketball season and expose GAEL FORCE to a variety of people."
