Moraga, CA - World speed climbing champion, three-time X Games gold medalist, and eight-time US National champion Hans Florine will speak at Saint Mary's College on Monday, September 26 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Claey's Lounge in the Soda Center. Florine will speak on one of his books "Blowing Through Barriers: Results Worth Getting."
Florine holds speed climbing records around the world, including climbing Yosemite's El Capitan in 2 hours and 48 minutes, and Half Dome twice in the same day. Hans wrote the book on Speed Climbing! A popular speaker to business and corporate leaders, Hans was so inspiring that the Harvard Business School Club wrote: "Everyone walked out of the room excited, impressed, and motivated to achieve."
Monday's talk by Florine is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Saint Mary's Department of Athletics and Recreational Sports.
