Moraga, CA - Saint Mary's will kick-off its 2006-07 basketball season by hosting MidKnight Madness on Thursday, November 2 at 10 p.m. in McKeon Pavilion. The night will feature a performance by Warriors' Thunder Dunk Team, and an introduction of the men's and women's basketball teams, which will include a men's basketball highlight film of the 2005-06 season. The doors to the Pavilion will open at 9:30 p.m., and the event will begin 10:00 p.m.

Other events will include performances from the Saint Mary's Cheer and Dance Team, competitions for prizes, skits by both the men's and women's teams, and a special guest performance. Spintronix Entertainment will also be on hand to enhance the atmosphere. The event is free for all attendees and Sodexho will provide late-night snacks for everyone in attendance.

MidKnight Madness is sponsored by Gael Force, the official student-spirit club of SMC Athletics. Students will have the opportunity to sign-up for Gael Force at the event and members in attendance can pick-up their 2006-07 shirt.

With the basketball season openers right around the corner, hosting MidKnight Madness on Thursday, Nov. 2 gets students and fans excited by allowing them the opportunity to participate in the festivities.
