2007 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 29 Tickets Now on Sale

The Saint Mary's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Saint Mary's beginning with an 11:00 am Mass. The Banquet and Reception begin at 12:00 pm in the Soda Center. Tickets for the 2007 Induction Ceremony are $50 for adults and $30 for children under 12. The Saint Mary's Honors Court voted to induct the following six Gaels into the Athletic Hall of Fame:

Trisha Dean, class of 2000, is the only softball player to have her number retired at Saint Mary's College. Trisha is the all time Gael leader in batting average, hits and doubles.

John Leykam has been affiliated with Saint Mary's since 1984. John joined the College as Director of Public Relations and has also served as a Development Officer, Senior Director of External Relations and currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Director of Athletics. Mr. Leykam was awarded the Signum Fidei Award and the Spirit Award by the Department of Athletics in 2004.

Ed Lickiss founded the crew program at Saint Mary's in 1965 and coached through 1975. Coach Lickiss led the Gaels to the 1967 West Coast Championships and a fourth place finish at the 1967 US Nationals.

James Mouton, class of 1991, was a two-time All-WCC outfielder and is a Top Ten WCC Career Leader in hits, runs, stolen bases and bases on balls. James followed up his collegiate career with eight seasons in the Major Leagues with Houston, San Diego, Montreal and Milwaukee.

Cassidy O'Hara, class of 1989, is the all time leading tackler for the Gaels with 452. Cassidy led the team to an undefeated 10-0 record in 1988.

Tracy Morris , class of 2000, was the 1996-97 All-WCC Freshman of the Year and a three time All-WCC women's basketball player. Tracy is the all time leading scorer is Women's Basketball history with 107 points.

Also being honored is the 1985 NAIA National Championship Women's Volleyball team which included Jacqueline Banks, Kathy (Basila) Markel, Lisa (Bertaccini) Ward, Anne (Cooper) Silva, Theresa (Hanks) Attalah, Kathleen (Hurley) Snashall, Jodi Jaques, Lisa (McDermott) Street, Gina (Miller) Ucceli, Darlene Parker, Ana (Robles) Yamauchi, and Christine (Vorpahl) Talan.
