Moraga, CA - Saint Mary's College baseball will host the 5th Annual Meet the Players Night on Saturday January 31, 2009. The event will take place in the Soda Center located on the campus of Saint Mary's College. Meet the Players Night will feature introductions of the 2009 Gaels, a season preview by Head Coach Jedd Soto, and a keynote address by former California Angels manager and current Team USA pitching coach Marcel Lachemann. A silent auction and hosted cocktail reception will begin at 5:00 pm, with a dinner program and live auction beginning at 6:00 pm.

The Meet the Players Night is the premier event for Saint Mary's baseball and has featured such guest speakers as Will Clark, Steve Garvey, Duane Kuiper and J.T. Snow. All proceeds from the event support the Saint Mary's Baseball Team Fund.

Admission for the event is $100. Sponsorship opportunities are available through the Dugout Package ($1,500=admission for 10, VIP seating, program recognition and an autographed team jersey) and the Infield Package ($1,000=admission for 8, VIP seating, program recognition and an autographed team bat).
