As a senior (2010): A team captain for his senior season...appeared in a team-high 21 games with four starts on the mound for the Gaels...finished the year with 50.2 innings pitched, with a 0-6 record, a 6.04 ERA and three saves...finished the season with 34 strikeouts to just 11 walks, while giving up 76 hits and 34 earned runs...his longest outing of the season came against Cal State Bakersfield, when he threw 7.0 innings, allowing one run on six hits with seven strikeouts...did not get a decision in that game...finished the season with 8.1 scoreless innings pitched, while allowing just six hits in four appearances, including a save against Seattle University on May 23...pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing just one hit to San Diego in the final game of the season...picked up his first save of the season, striking out the only batter he faced in an 8-6 win over Sacramento State on Mar. 9...threw 1.1 innings, allowing two hits and no runs, against San Francisco on Apr. 17 to earn his second save of the season.
As a junior (2009): Earned West Coast Conference Honorable Mention…made 20 appearances on the year with two starts…posted a 2-2 record with a career-high six saves and a career-best 4.01 ERA…tallied 42.2 innings pitched with 39 strike outs…earned his first win of the season on 2/28 versus Nebraska going 4.0 complete innings out of the pen for the Gaels, surrendering no hits with one walk and one strike out…earned his second win of the season on 4/26 versus Loyola Marymount going 3.2 innings pitched surrendering one hit while striking out two…on 4/3 at USF he earned his fifth save of the season throwing two perfect innings and struck out a season-high five batters…in conference play he posted a 1-1 record with three saves and a 4.15 ERA.
As a sophomore (2008): Made 13 appearances off the mound, starting 11 games...finished the year with a 3-4 record and a 6.68 ERA in 60.2 innings pitched...struck out a season high nine batters in win over Towson on 2/22...finished the year with 46 strikeouts, striking out five or more five times...strongest outing of the season came in a pitchers duel vs. Pepperdine, scattering three hits and giving up just one run while striking out four...struck out five in 5.2 innings of work in win over Fairleigh Dickinson...struck out seven in 6.1 innings pitched in win over UW Milwaukee on 2/29.
As a freshman (2007): Made 14 starts on the mound for the Gaels as a true freshman...recorded a 4-5 record with a 4.35 ERA...struck out 59 in 82.2 innings pitched...made first collegiate start against Nevada on Jan. 27...earned first collegiate win against Utah Valley St. on Feb 17...fanned five or more batters six times...struck out a career-high 10 in seven innings against Southern Utah on March 17...was 2-3 with a 4.64 ERA in WCC play...earned first league victory against Portland on April 29...allowed one unearned run on four hits with six Ks against Columbia on March 3.
High School: Came to Moraga from Woodcrest Christian High School where he lettered in baseball and basketball for two seasons...became Riverside County's first triple crown pitcher in recent memory with a 10-1 record, 0.67 ERA and 130 strikeouts...his 130 Ks ranked fourth in the state and his 0.67 ERA was ranked 23rd....walked only 21 and allowed only 30 hits in 73 innings...posted seven games with double-digit Ks including a 16 strikeout performance...led his team to Division 5 finals appearance...pitched a no-hitter against Linfield Christian his junior year...was named league MVP and a first-team all-league selection...was also recruited by Hawaii, UC Irvine and UC Riverside.
